My Mind Won't Shut Up

Thats it! I'm done! I'm not playing around anymore, I'm going full blast on this blog thing. I know I've said that like a hundred times, but I really am now. I had this whole thing written out and it was just simply fabulous, and of course my computer goes and deletes it all! Story of my life eh? Work hard, create something awesome and poof...got nothing to show for it.

Well you know what I say? It's time for a change of pace. In life and in blog-ville. I've gotten so much more into my company, I've become obsessed over Pinterest, I've re-found my love for fashion, I just got my real estate license and was hired by Keller Williams here in Miami Beach and boy, has my life just done a huge 180! I feel like a new woman! I'm busy 24/7, I'm out there living the life I used to live when I was living in NYC...which was my entire life up until a few years ago. I think it's time I became the fashionista social butterfly that I used to be...'cause that girl was friggin AWESOME.

I'm sitting here in Starbucks right now...can you believe it? My boyfriend, or otherwise known as Man, is off at work, while our internet is down until tomorrow morning. So I was left at home with puppy to just twiddle my thumbs. Luckily, Cuz decided to call me and ask to meet me at Starbucks next to our apartments...I did, we did, I'm here, he left. Now I'm that awkward girl in the corner typing madly to herself on a lonesome Monday evening.

I told you I was cool. I am thoroughly in love with this Etsy store: The Bellwether Shop - If you have never seen it, please go! How fabulous is this? Everything in this shops just screams my name! Once I actually have some money I plan on coming back to it...oh yeah. The colors are perfect for fall, the style is great for any outfit, Claire's stuff is just so wearable...which I love! Especially since I feel like my jewelry isn't...sometimes...lol.

I haven't been around. I'm sorry. Smack smack. Not like anyone has actually ever read this thing anyhow....but I guess everyone has to start somewhere. Made a treasury last night, it went viral overnight. Like 1000 views or something. INSANITY! And honestly, this was one of the fastest, easiest treasuries I have ever made...LOL. I kinda made it because I had 10 minutes to kill and was like, uh yeah, sure. Get some exposure to my shop. Voila! Top treasury on all of Etsy for hours!!! Don't you love happy accidents?

Now this weekend I've made a TON of new jewelry. All hand dyed/painted lace. Can't decide on that, btw, hand dyed? Hand painted? I do take a paint brush and paint it...so I dunno. Any suggestions? Also, FOOTBALL is back. Who is excited? THIS GIRL. LETS GO GIANTS!!!

Posted a bunch of new jewelry last night. This week has been so strange. Between hurricanes, earthquakes and now Labor Day Weekend, sales/views have been crazy low. Everything was fantastic for so long...but it has all changed. I've made White Bear my main income, but if this past week is how it is going to be in the future...well it's back to getting a real job! LOL. Who wants that!? Anyone else find that same thing happening? I'm hoping it will get better this week now that everyone is back to school and relaxed. Guess it's the waiting game? Added 4 more necklaces to my hand dyed lace collection. Made tons of new treasuries. Making lots of new friends. Not making a ton of feather sales. Made a lace necklace sale. Making myself go crazy.

This is one of my personal favorite treasuries I have created lately. I wonder if/when one of my treasuries will make it to the front page? How do I make one that will do that! Ahhh a girl can dream.

I made it on the front page of ETSY for the FIRST time!!! Oh man, has this seriously made my day. What a fantastic thing to wake up to! It's boosted my views like nothing I ever could of imagined :) Check out the gorgeous treasury called Color Me Happy

Ok, its been awhile.

I am really bad at blogging. I have decided, I am just REALLY bad at it. Haha! I constantly forget. So here I am, trying to remember. Its torrential outside, which is really depressing when you live in gorgeous, [normally] sunny Miami Beach. But in a way its nice, I have my darling boyfriend home for the first time in weeks. We were on vacation, and then he went into work (he's a chef at the Mondrian Hotel... for 11 days straight. Today, the first rainy day we've had in weeks, is his first day off. Typical.

I've been keeping myself quite busy though! I've come up with a few new lines for White Bear! My personal favorite I think is the "Artist Dyed Lace" pieces. I find these to be fun, unique and exciting! Check out these new creations HERE.

Otherwise, I've been selling TONS of feather extensions! They are so much fun for me too. I love creating new color combos and making women out there happy while expressing themselves in new cool ways. It's also driven a ton of traffic to my shop, so I've sold a bunch of jewelry. Overall, life is pretty good right now. I got a new sectional for our apartment and it's becoming really difficult to get off of it...whoops.

FIRST SALE!!!

YAY!

I want to jump and scream for joy! I had my first sale on Etsy yesterday. Yes, it was on my old store, Ethereal Skies (which is now empty) but it at least made me feel fantastic. Now I just need to get sales on White Bear. I added a tremendous amount of new items. Like, 30 new items, lol. I'm also thinking of getting into the feather hair extension business....it's just so COOL. I'm looking for something new and fun anyhow...mayyyybe?

New Name...New Feeling

Yeah, I changed my name. My company, my esty store...its all new. Welcome to White Bear! I hated Ethereal Skies, personally. Just didn't have that ring to it. Hard to remember, and what I found out is that most people don't even know what ethereal means...

So here we are. White Bear. I love it. It's named after my puppy Chloe. She is white and totally looks like a teddy bear. She is the love of my life, (obviously besides my hubby John lol) and I felt it only appropriate to name it after something that actually, well, MEANS something to me.

I just took some gorg pictures of 3 new earrings I am putting up on my Etsy shop. I am in love with all 3 earrings and the pictures too. They all match so well! I think I am going to make some more jewelry tonight. I am just in the mood..well I am not in a good mood at all. Family..money..etc. BLAH. So what do I do when I'm sad? I CREATE! Hopefully others will enjoy my emotional pieces I'm going to make tonight...haha ;)

Soo aggravating!

I am so broke, it stinks lol. I hate having to pay off bills! All I want to do is make jewelry and headbands and other fun things. But finding the time to go shopping for materials, actually creating things the way I WANT to and all that jazz...well...it's just hard right now. I hope I make a sale on my Etsy site soon! That would lift my spirits. Well, I get paid in a few days, maybe I'll head to Michaels that day. I'll drag my sister along, I'm sure she will enjoy herself.
